Last week an airport in Seattle Washington removed all Christmas Decorations after a local Rabi had threatened the Washington State Airports Authority and the FAA with a lawsuit claiming that if they were to display Christmas decorations than they should display symbols that represent all cultures and their respective holidays.
I laughed so hard when I learned that but at the same time I was disgusted that anybody a rabi...man of God even would pull such a stunt, sure I respect the fact that in the Jewish relgion Jesus the saviour/ sabbath has not yet arrived but even so why ruin something for may people out of sheer spite....I guess he never learned anything after 9/11 not to mention the countless other battles/ wars have where relgion was the root cause of it.
I can`t wait to see what is next........Im guessing Santa Clause himself will fall victim to "olitical Correctness", here some examples.........He`s a short obesed man that has such a poor diet I wouldn`t be surprised if he hasn`t been diagnosed with diabetes, just look at his dieall that cholestoral.a heart attach or stroke just waiting to happen.
Then their is the issue of his method of travel, he flies around the globe in one night hauling tons of packages with only 8 tiny reindeer.....Damn................that`s a job for 80 reindeer not 8. Why hasn`t the SPCA stepped up to bat and done something about that?
His elves, he has those poor thing working their little fingers to the bones, most of them probably already go through life nubbing away at everything because they are already riddled with arthritis or carpal tunnel. I thought slave labour was illegal.
What`s next? Good Friday going to be changed to "Jesus is only taking a nap day"? Peter Cottontail going to be called "Vermon of non specified species and gender"?
Two years ago a county in the United States made Halloween illegal stating it was too scary for the children so they now call it "Harvest Holiday"
In Canada we have issues with some politicians in Quebec wanting to recognized as a distinct society and wish to be recognized as their own country.a nation within a nation, mean while the vast majortiy of the citizens of the province do not wish to separate from Canada.
In Toronto we had a mayor that tried telling the Bare Naked Ladies could not perform a scheduled concert in the city unless they changed their name because she found their name offensive........How`s this for a good name for the already famous band.....Unclothed Persons of Non Specified Gender"? Needless to say after some debate they did play in Toront with the same name and that woman is no longer the Mayor
Where do we draw the line with all this Political Correctness? Are these politicians actually justified inm wasting tax payers dollars in suich a rediculous manner? How long can we allow it to go on?
I now have only one thing left to say to all those over paid over zealous crooked assed politicians and happy little do gooders that hangf out with all the tree huggers, holy rollers and animal activists........
I`ll be thinking of you as I sit down to enjoy a nice char broiled Bambi burger on a disposable paper plate and at the same time.........
